Weekend of Play
A weekend takeover of Sauchiehall Street!
Join us for a weekend of fun games and play activities exploring the senses and stories of the street. Test your balance, listen to the secret sounds of trees, score a film, try out some Tutti Frutti ice cream, impersonate a pigeon and make your own tile.
All activities are FREE to attend. Drop-in sessions available.
Please note, some session must be booked in advance.
Adults allowed (if well behaved!)
The Weekend of Play is organised by Glasgow Building Preservation Trust and the Sauchiehall Street: Culture and Heritage District, along with partners PEEK, the Hunterian Museum, Join the Dots collective, Make It Glasgow and the Mackintosh Tearooms. Our work is kindly funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Enjoy FREE Ice Cream!
Sat 27 Jun, 12noon until gone!
Peacock’s are serving up FREE ice cream with a nod to Glasgow's BBC Scotland drama series Tutti Frutti.
Transmitted in 1987 and written by John Byrne, the series won six BAFTAs, bringing many of it's cast to national prominence.
Much of the series was filmed on or around Sauchiehall Street!
