Want to try coding with a creative, Christmas twist? Come along to our Poetry/Coding workshop with the poet Michael Mullen and our STEM Co-ordinator, Dr Claire Quigley. Inspired by Edwin Morgan’s poem ‘The Computer’s First Christmas Card’, we’ll code our very own festive poem and leave with a handmade Christmas card! There will also be a chance to see some items from the Edwin Morgan collection. No experience of coding or creative writing necessary.
This free workshop takes place in the Mitchell Library on Thursday 4th December, 6:00-7:30pm. For more information, please call 0141 287 2988 or email specialcollections@glasgowlife.org
A ‘Treasure-Bytes’ event.
