After a 14-year recording hiatus, phenomenal Anglo-Irish quartet Flook – flautists/whistle players Sarah Allen and Brian Finnegan, guitarist Ed Boyd and bodhran wizard John Joe Kelly – released their dazzling fourth studio album Ancora in 2019. It’s in the live arena, though, that their signature fusion of stunning tunes, uncanny ensemble precision and virtuoso improvisation truly comes into its own. “Iconic, ground-breaking, progressive and all-round brilliant” (Lynette Fay, BBC Radio Ulster)

In between touring with legendary progressive bluegrass outfit Yonder Mountain String Band, mandolin firebrand Jacob Jolliff helms his own next-generation supergroup, flanked by fiddler Alex Hargreaves (Turtle Island String Quartet), guitarist Stash Wyslouch (Deadly Gentlemen/Molsky’s Mountain Drifters) and bassist Jeff Picker (Sarah Jarosz).
