Glasgow Sinfonia would like to thank the patron, whose very generous donation has allowed us to hold this concert at the New Auditorium.
Glasgow Sinfonia, lead by their conductor Gerard Doherty, will take you on a colourful journey through some of the finest pieces in the classical repertoire, which will end with R. Strauss's epic tone poem "Ein Heldenleben", which is scored for a large orchestra of over 90 musicians.
