An ordinary bike, aka penny-farthing,
is the latest and oldest object on display on the suspended Velodrome. What’s extraordinary is that the bicycle,
called ‘The Spider’, was built in Glasgow by the Howe Machine Company of
Bridgeton, about 1885.
