For the first in the series, we welcome award-winning Scottish comedienne, playwright, blogger and columnist Janey Godley.

Born and brought up in Glasgow, Janey has performed her comedy shows around the world, including off-Broadway. She is a regular on BBC Radio 4’s Just a Minute and has appeared on Have I Got News for You. She published her autobiography Handstands in the Dark in 2005 and went viral on the internet in 2016, the year Donald Trump was elected – these two events may be related.

Janey chooses her favourite books to discuss.
