Nitin Sawhney CBE recipient of the Ivor Novello 2017 Lifetime Achievement award, is one of the most distinctive and versatile musical voices around today.
As a touring artist Nitin has played across the globe to include prestigious venues such as Royal Albert Hall and Sydney Opera House.
Sawhney has recorded multiple albums, film soundtracks and compilations, encompassing over 70 film and TV scores and is established as a world-class producer, songwriter, touring artist, BBC Radio and club DJ, multi-instrumentalist, theatrical, dance, videogame and orchestral composer and cultural/political commentator. Holding 7 honorary doctorates from UK universities along with 3 fellowships, Nitin also sits on the boards of multiple charities. He has received over 20 major national and international awards and is a member of Oscars, BAFTA and Grammys.
Sawhney is the Chair of the PRS Foundation, the UK’s leading funding body for new music and talent development. Along with scoring for film and TV projects, Nitin’s new album IDENTITY will be released on October 13th 2023 through Warner Music.

There are accessible toilets located to the right of the entrance to the auditorium on the ground floor and on the balcony adjacent to the Candleriggs Bar.

Guide and assistance dogs are welcome and are allowed in the auditorium.

This venue does provide audio described performances.
There is a hearing assistance system. The hearing system is infrared. A deposit is required for the sound enhancement system.
