A blue sky, a soaring bird and a dream of tranquillity – Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending is one of the nation’s favourite classical pieces. But it’s just one face of this great British composer, and today conductor Martin Yates shares an amazing rediscovery: The Future, a visionary masterpiece for chorus and orchestra that’s never been heard before. Experience a little piece of musical history – and enjoy the dazzling colours and stirring melodies of Stravinsky’s The Firebird, too.

Subscriptions on sale from Wednesday 20 March 2019. RSNO Circle members can priority book single tickets from Wednesday 1 May 2019. Tickets on general sale from Wednesday 8 May 2019.
