Samantha Clark enjoyed a busy career as an artist before returning home to Glasgow to take care of her parents house. Sifting through their belongings, reflecting on her mother's years of mental illness and her father's retreat to the world of amateur radio and model planes, she began to contemplate her inheritance. Aged thirty-one, Catrina Davies was renting a box-room in a house in Bristol, but was homesick for the landscape of her childhood in Cornwall. Homesick is the story of a personal housing crisis and a grappling with class, economics, mental health and nature. It shows what it means to feel at home.
