Sian and Bon Débarras

Celebrating the release of their second album araon, Scottish Gaelic folk band Sian will perform at Barony Hall with an extended line-up of musicians featured on the record. This is a rare opportunity to hear araon performed live as never before, bringing the album’s rich arrangements and harmonies to life in an exclusive setting. 

Sian comprises three of today’s most exquisitely gifted Gaelic singers - Ceitlin Lilidh, Eilidh Cormack and Ellen MacDonald - accompanied by acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Innes White. With direct connections among the singers to Lewis, Skye and North Uist, their arrangements combine a deep respect for tradition with stunning, boldly imaginative harmony work. Their distinctive sound brings a fresh energy and emotional depth to the Gaelic song tradition.
