Built in 1859 to rehouse the Gordon Street United Presbyterian congregation, St Vincent Street Church is a world renowned example of Greek gothic architecture in Glasgow.
Alexander ‘Greek’ Thomson’s world-renowned St Vincent Street Church is currently closed while necessary repairs take place, but the long-term future for the building still needs to be resolved. The Alexander Thomson Society and partners are developing a Business Plan for its future as a mixed spiritual and secular space, based on the success of similar models in Glasgow and elsewhere. What do you think it's future should be?
Join us for a talk by the Alexander Greek Thomson society about the history of the building and an open forum discussion about it's future
Date: Saturday 21 March
Time: 2.30pm
Location: Edward House, 199 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, G2 3EX.
