The Oran Mor Sessions Live with The Southside Fiddlers

The Oran Mor sessions have been led every Saturday and Sunday since 2023 by renowned fiddler and teacher Jamie Smith (The Long Notes, SBO Band) and guitarist Adam Brown (Rura, Imar). They have been joined variously by some of Scotland’s finest traditional musicians and for one night only bring the joy of their weekend sessions in the main bar to the big stage. Expect a wonderful musical journey through Scotland, Ireland, the Isle of Man, and beyond. Special guests include Tom Callister, Eryn Rae and Luc McNally (amongst others). 

Founded by celebrated fiddle tutor Louise Hunter, The Southside Fiddlers have been a vibrant part of Glasgow’s Irish traditional music scene for nearly a quarter of a century., celebrating their 25th anniversary in 2026.

With a repertoire rooted in the Irish tradition, The Southside Fiddlers delight audiences with their uplifting, energetic performances that prove the tradition is in safe hands.
