An all-round bonus prize from Radio Scotland’s annual Young Traditional Musician of the Year contest, the TMSA Young Trad tour offers winners and runners-up a string of professional gigs, including hometown dates for all, and a featured role in each year’s accompanying album. Ahead of 2020’s 20th competition final, today’s line-up includes recent winners Benedict Morris and Hannah Rarity, together with Cameron Ross, Catherine Tinney, Luc McNally, Ross Miller and Sarah Markey.
The concert opens with a showcase performance by students from Oban High School’s specialist traditional music department.
