Join us at Kelvin Hall for a special Twilight Tour of The Hunterian’s collection focused on the upcoming exhibition The Trembling Museum. Curators Andy Mills and Dominic Paterson will introduce some of the objects that will feature in the exhibition, which brings together African art objects with contemporary works from around the world.
For this project, The Hunterian is collaborating with Manthia Diawara and Terri Geis of New York University to apply the pioneering ideas of Caribbean poet and philosopher Edouard Glissant to our collection, changing the way we understand relationships between cultures and across different geographies. As well as presenting some key objects, this Twilight Tour will share some of the thinking that is shaping the exhibition.
Free but please book a place here.
