The Scottish Labour History Group

Exploring women’s experiences of work in the textile and clothing sectors in Glasgow and Renfrewshire since 1970 through oral history. Focusing on four local companies: Bairdwear in Polmadie and Springburn; Coats Viyella in Paisley; D&H Cohens in Pollokshaws; and Stoddard Carpets in Elderslie.
