Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5 are celebrating 10 years of their debut album - Party To Make Music To Party To Make Music To Party Pt. 1.
Made when the band were drunk and skint, subsequently the album was recorded in 4 different studios whenever they could afford it, although mainly in the now demolished Dixon Street studio where the parties raged and they met many of their yellow movement contemporaries , its a slice of Mustard fun pie, with daftness and some social commentary and was an indicator of the genre hopping that they are infamous for. Even though only 10 years ago, the world seems like a very different place and the bands desire to get people laughing and dancing has never been more important. As so many of the songs have changed for the better in the live arena, it feels like a good time to record this as a live album and celebrate it more with some previously unreleased videos and a chance to hear some rarely played fan favourites like How Many Mary's and Capturado as well as festival favourites The International Sex Hero, Bouncy Ball, Gay Icon and Ginger Girl, we might even have a couple of previous members up for old times’ sake.
Live, the band are famed for throwing some of the most outrageous parties in venues and festivals across the UK and beyond.
Doors: 7pm
