Meet at Kelvin Hall for a walking tour of Partick as part of Glasgow's Doors Open Day festival

Join us on an informal walking tour of Partick, starting from the Kelvin Hall.

Together we shall be exploring the festival’s theme of Sustainable Communities looking at the natural and built environment of this vibrant area. Using archival photographs from Glasgow Museums collections we’ll reflect on how the area has changed. Is it a greener and cleaner place to live now than it was last century?

We’ll also look at shops and public buildings and how these reflect the changing needs and tastes of the local population.

Tour lasts 1 hour, covering a distance of approximately 1.5 miles. Free but booking is essential. Book here.
