It’s not often the trombones take the spotlight at the front of the stage. This February, don’t miss our trombone quartet as they come together for an afternoon of brass without limits. Under the leadership of Principal Trombone Dávur Juul Magnussen, expect a concert filled with atmosphere, serenity (in Arvo Pärt’s beautiful Summa) and raw energy. And joy, too – because the RSNO’s fabulous Youth Chorus will be joining in the party, and we’ve heard that they have a few surprises in store…

Subscriptions - Restoration Fund Information
For customers buying a seasonal subscription, classical concerts in the 2026:27 Season will carry a restoration fund of 75 pence per ticket.
For any additional concerts during 2026:27, whether bought in a separate transaction or along with a season subscription, the standard £1.50 restoration fund per ticket will apply.
Booking Information
A transaction fee of £1.50 is charged for online bookings and £1.75 for phone bookings for single tickets. Fees correct at time of publishing.

Restoration fund
From 1 September 2024, for any new events going on sale at our Concert Halls venues (Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, City Halls and Old Fruitmarket and Kelvingrove Bandstand), a new Restoration Fund of £1.50 per ticket may be added at checkout. View the full Restoration Fund T&Cs.
