On Wednesday 14th October, join us for a family workshop in a calmer, less crowded environment with access to a quiet space. This is drop-in and free, but please book a space via Eventbrite.
In honour of Black History Month and as part of the Big Draw Festival, we will look at artists of colours who have made a mark in art, with different activities inspired by their work on display.
We also have visual storyboards for each of our museum venues which can help you prepare for a visit. These include photos of a typical visitor journey through the museum, letting you know what to expect when you get there.
We have sensory bags available to borrow from the front desk. These contain ear defenders and sensory/fidget toys.

The accessible toilet is located on the lower ground floor.
Assistance dogs
Guide and assistance dogs are welcome and water bowls can be provided.
