We have a range of digital resources, films and quizzes for you to use individually or as a group.

Films

We have a variety of films available on the Glasgow Museums YouTube channel where we also have a specific Age Well playlist.

Here are some suggestions to get you started.

We have a series of introductory films about the natural history and art collections and the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s on a playlist called Museum on Your Doorstep.

Art through a window

Exploring different views through the windows that appear in the art collections at Glasgow Museums. Including step by step guidance to inspire your own window view artwork.

If you are interested in seeing some old photographs of Glasgow and reminiscing, you may enjoy the short film below which explores images of Glasgow in the past.

We hope that these photos will bring back fond memories for you. Perhaps you recognise some of the parks, funfairs, museums, stations and streets pictured. Or maybe you have memories of going bowling, picnics in the park, or taking a trip for Glasgow Fair.

Most of these images come from the Glasgow Photographic survey of 1955.
